I must say, between you and Tom, you satisfy my appetence for new, fun words. Just last month from him I learned "inchoate", which I almost used in my written proposal today. Maybe I'll use it in my presentation next week.

Inchoate is a lovely, useful word. I like it as well. But as a rara avis, it's much more common that appetency. Why H.P. Lovecraft used inchoate frequently. Or so my poor recollections of reading him tell me. :-D
