Listen to Pi

Mixolydian Mode

Given that it is a very straightforward rendering, it might be improved by simply allowing repeated numbers to lengthen the duration of a note to get more of a sense of rhythm and variation. But an interesting exercise.

Thanks so much for the link! I'm saving this to present to my math students on National Pi Day. (March 14, of course!).

What if you write pi in octal and play it according to a do re mi octave? Just to see what's there "naturally."
