St. Thérèse on Prayer

Do not be afraid to tell Jesus that you love him, even if you do not feel that you love him. Prayer is a cry of gratitude and love in the midst of trial as well as in joy.

I was reading an excerpt of her writings the other day. She spoke of her vocation being a vocation of love. That is for all of us. We are called to love. That says it all. It is a comfort. It is a supreme challenge.
