The Dangers of Religion

Always perceptive, Unapologetic Catholic writes about the potential for alienating people from the Church, from the truth. He makes some very good points.

I was reading a book about Mormonism the other day and the author said one of the biggest reasons it is growing so quickly is they emphasize hospitality and nourish community. But they also have standards. (Arbitrary ones to my mind, but standards, such as no caffeine.) And people want to be challenged while at the same time want to be treated with great warmth, so it's no surprise Mormonism is growing.
