E-Books For Everyone

H. Rider Haggard Fair Margaret
G.K. Chesterton Alarms and Discursions
John Knox First Blast of the Trumpet Against the Monstrous Regiment of Women (voted most amusing title in a long time)
Erasmus Darwin The Botanic Garden
M.R. James Ghost Stories of an Antiquary--Volume II--Contains the remarkable stories "Casting the Runes" and "Stalls of Barchester Cathedral." James is one of the all-time greats in the genre of stories that are just a bit chilling.

The Erasmus Darwin link doesn't work. Is it also at Blackmask?

can these be loaded onto a palm? I have the space but haven't figured out how to do this - help anyone?

Alicia,

Yes, they can.

First, the webmaster at Blackmask offers iSilo versions preprepared. Second, if you don't have the iSilo reader (if you're using Microsoft--you have the Lit reader, which he also offers), get yourself a Doc Reader, such as Plucker (a proprietary format, but a good one) then get the Plucker converter and convert the HTML file that I link to to a pdb format and simply synch it.

Personally, I'd say invest the $25.00 for iSilo (www.isilo.com) and download the files for iSilo. Synch and use iSilo to read them.

Write if I need to say more.

Thanks.

Shalom,

Steven
